	SUSI MAHACKE PRODUKTION is Susi Mahacke: fictional multiple appearance – strolling all across meadows, wastelands and walls. Since the mid-1990s a working method has emerged in which the medium and context develop always new from certain topics. After exhibition ensembles of big scale series of paintings, staged photography and creations of schnaps, nowadays Mahacke works with complex installations, gardens, performance, video and currently with music. ____Susi Mahacke dedicates herself to the Research of the Alpes, operating beyond existing institutions. She explores relations of wilderness and cultural landscape and their potential of myths and symbols. With realization of hiking tours in high mountains she betakes herself to the realm of field research and self-attempt. All too willingly she loses ground in the pathos of mountain ecstasy and plunges enchanted down abysses of wonderful wilderness illusions. Under terms of unfree flora and supernature she deals with further landscape and garden subjects. Susi Mahacke is interested in the ambivalence of the "natural" and the "artificial", for the whole range of perception of "nature" and its design/appropriation by humans. Her answer to trends of high technologized "working the countryside" is precision gardening. Within precision gardening she evolves special techniques of garden work, beneath traditional german handcraft with "Geduld und Spucke"* also by developing a plant-pot-system named botani babush. (* germ. idiom: patience und spit) In 2007 her private situation urges into her work. Since many years experiencing chronic pain, it becomes matter of a performance. Here she is joining work with a choreographer as coach. The intersection of private with identity as Susi Mahacke turns out new. For the first time she works in this matter with performance and with her own production of sound. („babusch über mich!“/"BBÜ" shows in 2009, Sounds basing on body scanner MRT/MRI) Since 2010 the artist keeps on working with sound, also in connection with video. After elaborate creation of music by extreme use of piling and manipulating sounds in film editing, she experiments today with combinations of that technique and music programs.
